When you meet with our team - here's what you will experience
At HALo, we believe that everyone deserves to live their life with purpose and dignity. That's why, after conducting a thorough assessment, we work closely with you to create a personalised service package that meets your unique needs and helps you maintain the independence and comfort of the home you love.
We want to meet you at home, preferably with your loved ones where we will conduct a three-part assessment.
Home Safety Assessment
We want to ensure that your home provides you, our employees, and our home assistants with a safe and secure environment.
Personal Needs Assessment
We will determine the areas where you or your loved ones require assistance, whether that be your common activities of daily living such as dressing, cooking, and moving from a chair or bed. We can then assess if these activities need support or can be performed independently.
Property Needs Assesment
Our team will also work with you to determine the areas of your property that require attention, whether it's your garden or other aspects of your home. The enhancements assessment will generally identify some recurring work required in the home, making your life easier. Fitting grab handles, mobility ramps, stair lifts, other mobility aids, or repurposing rooms as necessary to create a safe and secure home environment for you.

Our shopping services can be a lifesaver for those who have difficulty leaving the house or carrying heavy bags. We will accompany you to the grocery store or any other shopping destination and help you find the items you need.
Meal Preparation
Help with meal preparation can make a significant difference in your daily routine. We will work with you to create a meal plan that meets your dietary needs and preferences and prepare delicious and nutritious meals for you to enjoy.

Medication Reminders
For those who may have difficulty remembering to take their medication, our medication reminder services can be a lifesaver. (Administering prescribed medication is a restricted activity reserved for healthcare professionals with a certain level of qualification.)

Laundry
Whether using your own facilities or making use of commercial laundry providers we are happy to take in your laundry bed sheets, linen towels, and clothes, and return them to you fresh and clean.
Carers Respite
Whether you need time to take care of personal business, attend to your own health needs, or simply relax, our Carers Respite service can help. Our team of highly trained and compassionate professionals can provide in-home support to your loved one, giving you the time, you need to recharge and come back refreshed.
Home Maintenance
Our skilled professionals are equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to ensure that your property is well-maintained and in good condition. We can arrange for decorating and changes to the home on a one-off basis.

We appreciate that you get a lot of enjoyment from your garden and our gardening team will be pleased to mow your lawns, weed your borders, and cut back your hedges.
Handyman Services
We do not want you or your loved ones climbing on chairs to change lightbulbs or rehang curtains. Our handymen offer a wide range of services such as pressure washing, gutter cleaning, hanging pictures, curtains, or shelves.

We strive to be flexible to your needs and if there is something that you need to keep you in your home that we have not listed here then we will be pleased to consider any specific needs you may have. Help with letter writing, making appointments, and other family office tasks. Our home assistants do not handle client money as a matter of corporate.
